Brazilian Decaf

Love coffee but not the caffeine? We have had a lot of inquiries about decaffeinated coffee and felt that this one delivers! Whether you like a morning cup of regular caffeinated coffee, but know if you drink a cup in the afternoon you'll be up all night or just don't like caffeine this is just for you.

This richly sweet Brazil has classic nut tones and crisp chocolate notes, with gentle acidity and a nice silky body. With notes of cashew butter, baking chocolate, date, nutmeg and lily, it’s delicious as a standalone decaf coffee or as a blender. Aromas and flavors are clean and distinctive, all the way through to the nutty finish.

About the Decaffeination Process
This sweet, chocolatey decaf was first naturally processed in Brazil, then decaffeinated with the Mountain Water process in Mexico. The coffee is soaked in pure water from the highest mountain in the region, Pico de Orizaba, to first extract caffeine and flavor compounds. Once the compound-rich water is filtered to remove 99.9% of the caffeine, it’s reintroduced to the beans so they can reabsorb their flavors.

The entire process is chemical-free and produces decaf coffee that stays true to the characteristics developed from Cerrado and Sul de Minas’ excellent terroir. A smooth fusion of chocolate and nuts highlighted by warm baking spices makes this a sweet Brazil Mountain Water Decaf that is a pleasure to drink any time of day.
