Coffee from Santa Rosa is a true reflection of Guatemala’s rich coffee heritage, where diverse Arabica varieties, ideal growing conditions, and generations of tradition come together in every cup. Sitting between the southern coast and the highlands, this unique region produces coffees with a hybrid character: the natural sweetness of the coast paired with the bright acidity of the mountains.

The region’s varied altitudes and microclimates allow coffee cherries to ripen slowly, enhancing their aromatic complexity and deepening their natural sweetness. Many of these coffees are grown by small family producers who have cultivated their land for generations, preserving time-honored practices like shade-grown cultivation and traditional fermentation methods.

Barberena, Santa Rosa’s largest municipality, coffee earned the nickname “wedding coffee,” traditionally served at celebrations for its smooth, balanced, and crowd-pleasing character, a fitting tribute to a coffee that brings people together.

In the cup, expect inviting notes of chocolate and caramel, layered with red berry sweetness and a touch of bright citrus, creating a balanced and memorable experience.

Santa Rosa coffees offer a harmonious cup that’s sweet and vibrant, rooted in tradition and crafted with care.
